Sorry to Anthony and Chuck for not replying. For some reason time to time
a posted comment does not allow me to REPLY. It just has no REPLY option
below the comment. I was able to give a thumbs up and least for the
comment and I just sent a message to your channel so I hope those made it
to you both.
Does anyone know why this happens or how to fix it?
And of course thanks for the comments Anthony! If I ever make it to
Australia with the boat we will head out for a sail! And thank you Chuck
for the comments and subscribing! All the best to you both in 2015!!

Thanks for developing this channel. When I started looking to live aboard a
few months back I began a search for information like I always do. There is
not much real sailing information on the net that jumps out at you. You
have to really search deeper and you may find something but I find that
strange as sailing is an activity that goes back centuries and MANY people
do it so I can’t understand why there isn’t more online as to instruction.
Anyway that is how I found you. YT is a great resource. Thanks again. P.S.
I also picked up the guitar again thanks to YT. :)

Hi. Just found your awesome channel! Looks like it will take a while, but
I’ll get through all of the video eventually.
I’ve been wanting to move on board in the Vancouver area for a several
years now. Problem is it is extremely hard to find liveaboard marinas
around here other than Shelter Island that doesn’t have a 10 year wait
list. Only other ones I know of are Heather Marina & Spruce Marina in
False Creek, and their wait is 10 or more years, plus my catamaran won’t
fit. My partner was interested in moving on, but she has reservations
about moving our 14 month old toddler out to Shelter Island due to its
seemingly isolated location. Was Shelter Island’s location something that
bothered you before you moved there and how do you feel about its location
now? Do you have any thoughts about what the challenges would be due to
the location if you had your kids there full time? Are there any full time
kids that liveaboard at Shelter Island now? Muchas gracias in advancias if
you’ve got time to reply.

UM, how do you stay warm on your- – oh. funny, I find it as how do you
keep it cool on the boat? I relise your heater is propane and it does burn
a little cooler than diesel my problem is if I have mine burning as yours
in the video I wake up around 2 or 3 and it’s around 80 to 90* in the boat
so I have to open the hatch some, I finally adjusted it as low as I can and
stays around 70 to 75. If I went any lower it would carbon up the stove.
I’m going out on the first and it’s cold enough that should be nice. also
have a tiller pilot now so can stay inside and be warm if some of the logs
are gone yet! If you ever get over this way (gabriola) give me a shout
maybe we can meet up some where. Vern.

You commented on Mads channel “Sail Life” so I’ll give you the same
question I asked him. Doesnt the ice cause hull damage? In my area all
boats are pulled before the freeze andon my lake they even lower the water
level before freeze to save the docks from damage.
